Default windshield washer cap

Hi to all,
for my 2013 S60 T6 - I couldn't find the thread about it so it looks I am being the only one ! with that problem?
I lost - it fell? - windshield washer cap - now , I bought a new one (C$40) and asking how to put it back on, nozzles go out only while spraying...any ideas?
thanks

Do you mean the reservoir in the engine bay or the headlight washers?

Not on a Volvo but on a Golf I managed to pull the washer jet out of the bumper to clip the cover on. It should just extend on its normal travel manually.

Get an assistant to operate them while you watch to see the way it comes out
