Had 4 saabs from 93 to 2006 and at some time or another it happened to all of them...and my E Class, always once a year. Just kept forgetting to use the silicone stuff on the rubber. Until got frozen out...

Sorry - basically to wipe the door seals with an oil or something to stop the doors freezing shut. As for what else I cannot remember - however this was in the late 70s.
