I wonder what was going through the car drivers mind...... nearly a biker!

Used to ride bikes myself...last one was a GSX-R 750 and I never rode like that. I never went into a corner without seeing my exit.

Motorcycles, hmmmph. Anything with the potential to cause "excitement" or even "fun" should be banned. Then what will we have to complain about ?

I know that the knob in the video was young but so many are 45 + guys with an ego and imagined penis size way in excess of their ability.
The road is not the problem and never will be.
Born again bikers, or 'shoei lidders' as they are sometimes known (round here anyway) due to their use of the latest and most expensive gear as a fashion statement. As they approach middle age they get into bikes in a big way. They had a 125 back in the day so don't see a problem with fast tracking to a 1200 Bandit. Unfortunately time has taken their reflexes and they haven't the experience to compensate. Accidents waiting to happen.

I must add that it's 20 years since I rode on the road. I still ride off road sometimes, and the pain of an occasional slow motion flight onto the nice, soft grass is enough to remind me that I don't want to do it flat out onto a tarmac landing pad.

That video has been posted before. I said then and still taht it stands now. He followed another bike at first, keeping pace with him. That rider was in control and though riding fast, was not dangerous. When he slowed down, the camera bike in a fit of bravado, overtook so he could show how fast he could go. Unfortumately the place he was going fast, was directly to the scene of the accident.
