MikeS100 Premier Member Last Online: Mar 21st, 2024 21:39 Join Date: Oct 2011 Location: Sevenoaks	Air con recharge NW Kent / SE London Hi all, I'm after recommendations for getting the air con recharged in NW Kent or SE London. Looking for a proper drain, pressure test and refill rather than just a top up. I had an issue at an independent garage in the past, got my C70 and both the in-laws cars done on a deal, all 3 stopped working 6-9 months later. All then went to kwik-fit, I wouldn't normally trust them but it's just plugging in the machine and you can keep an eye on them. They confirmed no leaks and all been ok since they refilled. Original garage must have put the minimum amount of gas in to maximise their profits it seems. I now need to get the V70 recharged but Kwik-fit are asking £60! There are plenty of independent garages that will do it for less but I'm nervous after my previous experience. So any recommendations of a garage that will do a good job for a reasonable price?
