Help!! So many aspects of my Volvo XC60 are driving me crazy!! So I’ve been back to Volvo and they did a software upgrade (what?? Why didn’t they tell Dk the car needed it??) but please can you tell me why my car seat slides backwards EVERY time I open the driver door? I have set, set, set it countless times! Also, my mirror choice when reversing, I opted for PASSENGER but it keeps reverting to BOTH! Finally and probs linked to seat: I feel like my mirror settings don’t stick either. FYI we have 2 driver profiles.

I've had mine just over a year. I've found that one just has to persevere, it will get the hang of what you want eventually. Do you have the profiles locked? Do you press the update (or whatever it's called) button every time you change settings?

When you eventually get everything just the way you want it, there will be an update that changes everything!

Thanks for your response. Why we put up with this? Have you contacted Volvo UK to discuss?

Is your profile locked?

I found that the only way to get the settings saved permanently, was to save it, then lock it.

It’s been working fine for me and my wife, switching between the two profiles.

This is a very common ‘user’ problem when after making all their desirable setting changes they have failed to store those settings against the profile linked to their key fob..
Could I suggest that you read the applicable section in the car’s manual linked to “Driver Profile” when all will become clearer.

Works a treat when you do it right..... and like you I found out the hard way.
Wife had set hers up herself and was quite happy. Set mine up, and thought I'd done everything right but couldn't fathom why some bits worked and some didn't....

Seems I created my profile, set up everything up, locked my profile but for some reason it wasn't working as it should.
Not until the Wife pointed out that I hadn't actually ticked the box that sets it to the Key
Takes a woman - sometimes!!

I recently had my phone repaired which of course entailed an un-necessary full factory reset
Now, in the app on the phone it says incomplete pairings, one in blue, the other in black, both showing as 2023 XC60 and try as I might I cannot get it to work.
The phone connects OK for calls and audio but not for the app
If I continue to the next page it says we are unable to recognise this phone and I have tried all 3 options on that page (I deleted the app, I have replaced my old phone, I want an additional phone paired)....in all cases it appears to connect and pair via bluetooth but it never finishes

I have removed my profile from the car and dont really want or use profiles anyway, being happy with the default admin one for both of us.... we dont want the seats etc. to be set when we unlock the car, preferring to press the memory button on the door as required
