Agree with most of the above, especially the Xenium pack and Intellisafe systems. The car is huge and having the 360 cameras and proximity sensors is a must imo.

Interesting comments on Pro Pack.

I didn’t want 22inch wheels (comfort resolves by air suspension, but tyre costs...), air suspension would be nice, but other than those two items it didn’t seem worth the massive outlay.

The sun roof is of doubtful benefit and may increase the weight of the vehicle so increasing fuel consumption.

However the 360 camera is a survival device, I still have to use the 230v power supply in the back of the car. - Just waiting for some one desparate to charge their laptop so I can surprise them.

My favourite accessories are:

360 Camera - This allows us to safely back out of, say supermarket car park positions and similar, because an alarm sounds in the car if other cars or people are approaching our vehicle.

BLIS - We would now hate to be without this. It's a big help to check whether it's clear behind before you pull out to overtake.

Heads Up - You hardly need to avert your eyes to quickly check the route ahead at junctions and roundabouts and on motorway access and exit points, which are all additionally shown on the Heads Up when you are using the car's SatNav. Speed is clearly similarly clearly indicated too.

Steering Wheel Heat/Seat Heat - We love it, and using the Voice Control as and when we want to effect a change.

Volvo on Call - We like being able to remotely check the car and/or remotely start the engine, lock or unlock the car, turn the lights on or off, or even warm the car up ahead of our use on a very cold day.

Linked Google Account - Not really spec able for the car itself but our Android phones, which of course we have with us when we are in the car, can be used to show where we've been during the last month or so on a Google Map by using our linked Google Account

My essentials 360 camera pack

Love the HUD display now that I have had it; will always spec it in the future.

Heated steering wheel is amazing and have used many a time already.

Heated cooled seats are great as well as the seat and side extensions.

B&Ws love it, I always spec upgraded sound systems on all my cars. This is worth the money IMHO

The convenience pack like it I like being able to swing my feet and the boot opening. Especially when having a newborn.

Laminated windows, I found the car to be quieter.

One of my unexpected favourites has been the CTA you get with BLIS. Really handy when you're backing out in an area where there may be crossing pedestrians or other vehicles.

360 degree camera`s and Bliss. When I went out for a test drive hadn't considered the 360 item until returning to dealer and was sold on it the second I selected reverse! You also have the option to select each camera and zooming in to hitch up.

I have just had a small smile.
Thinking back to when I first stated driving, an exterior mirror was considered an optional extra!
How things have changed.

My V90 can keep a set distance from the car in front thanks to adaptive cruise.
I could drive hands off, but I cant bring myself to trust it.
What I really do like is the 360 deg. camera, bliss, heated seats and wheel, and the general level of comfort.

Trouble is when you have had all these options, you will also want them on your next car.
New cars seldom get cheaper do they?

That's the most difficult part
I had no chance choosing the color, that was the wife's departement so obviously I ended up with a blonde interior and Luminous Sand exterior. Luckily she didn't choose white exterior, I really dislike white cars. Beige is still manageable. One of my favorite colors is the blue exclusive from the XC60 R-design but I'm not sure if you have it in the XC90.
