S40 Rear Light Clusters LH + RH (08-)

I have been getting some bits together to do a front end update on my V50.

I managed to find a set of lights that came off a S40 (front and rear, no worries as the S40/V50 fronts are all the same) but the seller was keeping them as a complete set lights, therefore the rear clusters (both LH and RH for S40 08-) are suplus to requirement.

I'll try and get a pic or two up over the next couple of days, they came off a 2008 car and are in absolutely fantastic condition (really like new). Comes with the bulbs and boards too.

Anyone interested drop me a PM or post here with a sensible offer. I'm offering these here first before I drop them on to ebay next week.

Sony, Let me know when you are getting rid of your old fronts as mine are misting up all the time so could do with being replaced.

I was very much hopeing to have this done for Christmas but due to funding it is going to have to wait until the new year. I've got all the bits I need just can't afford to get them sprayed at the moment.

As soon as I do I'll let you know.

Hows your project coming along Sony?

How much did all the bits set you back?

Hi Big Monkey,

It has all been pretty static on getting the front end project done.

I've been on a course with work since Jan and it's just finished which has eaten all my time and then I've still not fully recovered from Christmas shopping either.

I hope in the next 2 months to have all the bits sprayed and on the car. The annoying thing is that all the bits are there just need to get them sprayed and put on the car.

In total for full body kit, lower door mouldings, front bumper, front lights, new 2010 (Iron) grille with R-Design badge, sports steering wheel and R-Design interior handles and floating dash, rear roof spoiler and front fogs with surrounds the cost has been £750. It will still cost another couple of hundred for the spraying needing done and I'll be happy.

I know it won't make the money back when I eventually sell it but to me that's not the point. I just enjoy the car and doing bits and bobs as I treat it as my hobby. I've no plans on getting rid any time soon.
