Default Pressure/Fuel gauge

I though my BCR LPG system had died the other day. I'm glad to say its my pressure gauge. The LED's are flickering on and off. The gauge will work for a short while before going nuts again? Can I fix this myself or is it a professional jobby?

Wow a CNG conversion! Not many about, what source of CNG do you use?

The CNG pressure gauge is under extrem high pressure and is not a DIY job. Places that can work on CNG are far and few between. You will need to run the tank fully empty.

Nope...... LPG But that does answer my question. It needs a service anyway. I read the manual last night and it looks like my system has never been serviced. Time to get it done me thinks.

You mean level gauge then.

If the switch is flashing then it has a stored fault. If intermitat going on and off then more likely a wiring problem, loose connection. Check the power and earth leads.

The first LED (quarter full marker) and the LED that tells you if the LPG is on or off flickers. However, it started functioning normally today, I've got my money on a wiring fault. I'm getting it serviced anyway but at least the LOG system is running still. I did notice that when I filled the take up that it didn't always register until I'd driven a short distance so I thinks it's the Level sensor. Just need to find a garage that'll do it on a Saturday now.

Cheers Dai.
