I think it would be logical to replace the a/c belt at the same time.

Check your alternator pulley is working as well, these often fail after 100k miles and can also accelerate belt and tensioner failure.

I personally will be replacing my alternator pulley every time I replace the aux belt as I have seen how much it causes the tensioner to bounce when it fails.

It was nice today so i did the belt, broke the tensioner where the T60 goes in as i applied pressure to take the ping off. This was a dayco item not stamped or marked up Volvo but was fitted by Volvo huddersfield. Some chasing round i got an INA item from GSF but turned out to be dayco also. All fitted and working. Fitted a left outer parking sensor as well.

While i had the wheel off the lower engine mount is looking a bit sorry and needs doing, is this a driveway job for someone reasonably competent?? Also is there a bush at the front end of the little arms? Who is good for aftermarket? Lemforder?

Are you talking about the mount that’s near the oil sump/oil cooler, underneath the car? It has a metal arm/brace around it?

If so, it can be done at home. The bush comes on its own. You reuse the arm.

I went genuine. There wasn’t much difference in price at the time. If you do go down the aftermarket route, then Lemforder, Febi Bilstein or Corteco are good.

I don’t know how to upload photo’s here? I have pictures of the mount on my phone.

That’s easy enough to do. Just make sure you support the engine with a jack before you remove the mount.

You may have to fiddle with the jack to get the mount bolts to line up. Disconnect the torque rod in the engine bay for an extra bit of leverage (the one near the coolant reservoir).

There is no separate bush. The new mount comes with the bush - It came as one piece.
