Where do you get your insurance from as all my quotes have been much more expensive?

Hi, just noticed your post re insurance cost.

The £400 was for the 09-10 year of insurance with Direct Line but they wanted £530 for 10-11 with no change whatsoever in risk / details. Apparently 'all rates have gone up whether you have had a claim or not'.

I've moved my business to Tesco insurance who from memory wanted approx £420 which was the best I could get anywhere. When the documents arrived they looked identical to those previously issued by Direct Line ... same typeface, same layout, same everything really but a different contact address etc; wouldn't be surpised if Tesco is using its buying power to front a Direct Line product.
