anyone who criticises my volvo t5, i could bet my volvo has given me less hastle than your wife.

my volvo has never let me down.

all you calling my volvo,

it has been great travelling all over the country with my dog in the back, comfy, and not a drag like a van would be.

ive got my dogs, my volvo, and my home.

i love them all.

i dont want to part with my volvo unless it is worth my while.

im only tempted at the price of £1950 cash.

a car is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.

as i was told on here a couple of years ago by fellow members

Firstly, gotta say...Lurve Alnwick....and Craster..and Bamburgh..AND Rothbury (even after- Mr. Mote's visit)..but I digress.!

Don't get too wound up or upset, mate...I understand what you are saying but you gotta understand that your "deal/reasoning" does sound quite strange to others...a classic ANTI-sell.!!
I was quite serious when I said in an ealier post...KEEP it...it's obviously been/is a cracking motor for you..you might just regret letting it go.?

Neil

but you have let your volvo down...

Default my volvo

well, it looks like i will be keeping it at the price im asking for it, lol

but if i advertise it too cheap, it will sell and i will regret it, i think.

i will see what happens, you never know.

if i win a few bob on the lottery tonight (spent £13 quid on tichets for the nite) the money will not be an issue,.

i will buy more volvos, and store them

im maybe what people call a "loner" and an eccentric hauder, well maybe i am.

yes, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but in my opinion, it is not constructive criticism some of the posts i have received. they are only commenting how much of a shed it is because they do not like it or it is not to their taste....if this is the case, why dont they say that...and even better...why even post if it not what they want.

peoples opinion differ....what is one mans junk is another mans treasure...

so id rather just hear from the men or women who see my "shed" "mut hut" as their treasure.

if it isnt for you, im not really interested in your opinion tbh.

just a waaiste of my time writing to you all who have no intention in buying my car.

at the moment, i have had some time spare so have replied to the timewasters posts.

another question i havent replied to.....no it isnt a joke. if it was a joke this advert i would be advertsing it for £20. so there you go...

however, everyones sense of humour isnt the same either, and if i advertised it for £20 i could guarantee you would take it serious and not think its a joke, however, £20 to me for my car is a joke...

so my humour is obviously not quite right somewhere along the line.

for some of you it is a shame there isnt a back seat, cos you wont be able to soe your oats with the mut hut i have in my t5.

however, i do not need a back seat in any of my cars anymore, i soed my seeds years ago, and i much prefer a dog as my companion, as oppose to a woman.

god give us dogs for company...god give us women there to give grief to men.

simples !! i know when im better off, likewise i know where i stand with my dog and my cars.

even selling my t5 for £1950, i would cry and later on in time would miss my t5, zipping along the roads in the summer.

they are a bargain buy, will keep up with many cars and are as reliable as many cars which cost £10000 plus.

so there you have it.....a bargain you cant miss and me, still feeling of being robbed if i let it go for £1950.

hmmm....serious reality check needed. The price you are asking would be on a stealer's minter with 30k miles, full service, 12 months MOT/Tax! No dog hairs....

I'm going to go against the grain here...
I can see what the op is saying.
He DOESN'T WANT to sell it BUT (and thats a big but) IF someone did offer him a price then thats what he wants for it.

I don't see the point in slagging off him or his car. He probably knows it wont sell but its not as if he's trying to rip anyone off. The car is there for all to see.

Surely he's entitled to ask whatever he wants for it?

Default re volvo t5

first of all, johnny j

check out www.whatcar.com

their price guide from a dealer is £1950, with 147k miles. i think lol

mot till may 2012

service history

better than youll get from a stealer dealer.

but hey, saying that, i dont want to sell it, if i did it would show in the price.

it is a perfectly good working order car.

and i know ill regret it if i sell it, so to soothe the pain and agony of regret, £1950 would comfort me and make me think, and regret it less.

so there you go...

its there for £1950 if anyone wants it,,,

its not going for less,,it doesnt have to go, ive got plenty storage space indoors....and its costing me nothing by keeping it.

also, if my jeep knacks up again, all i have to to is insure the t5 and throw the dogs in and drive off, nothing else to do.

no expense needed to usa a car for the purpose it is intended for....

im confused... the seller is saying he doesnt WANT to sell it, yet advertises it for sale?

Lets look at the facts.

147K miles is not exactly low mileage
No Back seats
No rear door cards
Stinks of dogs
Smokes on start up
Clutch issues
Needs a good valet.

£1950 no offers.

When you coud have.... for £200 less.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1997-Volvo...item3cb5dd6fc5

or
for £500 less with 42K less miles..

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-S70-...item27bd61968d

Thats what people are referring to when they say its over priced and a reality check is needed. If you dont want to sell it, dont advertise it.
