Run both my 960[2.9L]and V70[140] on E10 not noticed any difference in either performance or fuel consumption.If I had say a T5 or R then I'd probably go for the super duper stuff.But I'd not class either of mine[especially the V70]as performance machines so E10 will do nicely.

Some random and possibly inaccurate thoughts on the topic:-
1) The switch from E5 to E10 represents a 5% reduction in 'proper' fuel by volume. Anecdotally, there's an approximate increase in consumption, also around 5%. That is, there is no saving in fossil fuels. 2) At the same time, land used for growing sugar etc as feedstock for the ethanol process becomes unavailable for growing food. 3) If we're in any case supposed to be switching to all-EV by 2030 or so, gains if any may be made for only a few years. What's the point?
