I've seen a lot of smokers and colour is confusing. Firstly it depends a lot on the light conditions and secondly if the engine has been warmed up fully.
White only: Oil if warm, steam if cold, but can be both.
Black only: Excess fuel burn. Glow plugs or Carbon deposits if cold, overloading or turbo oil seals etc if warm.
Grey or Blue: Difficult, as might be more than one cause.

Professer,

Before any attempt to change the rear mount, maybe you should try to bypass it. Unplug the lower hose that feeds the engine mounts on the valve that is on the air box, plug the port with a piece of leakproof rubber hose and drive the car. If it goes into limp mode again you'll know the engine mount is not the culprit...

Good luck...

I got this code today after a number of times my 2005 s60 d5 is somewhat losing power when trying to accelerate hard in any gear.
6805 Boost Pressure Regulation Incorrect Flow
Intermittent.

Hoping for some help on what to check please.

that is a general code to say the actual flow through the turbo doesn't match what is expected ...
It could be a multitude of things .
first thought is intercooler leaking , any oil around it? Or a split turbo Hose .

Hi Nick, it’s nice to be back here again. I will check the engine around this weekend. It’s doing well now from 1st to 4th gear, but losing power when pushing it hard halfway through the 5th gear. No smoke at all.
