Default Air con issues

Hi, recently had my aircon re-gassed as I thought it wasn't cold enough, however it is still not cold.

Had the car on Vida and it shows no faults, although the evaporator sensor shows about 2 degrees above the in car temp? Can anyone shed any light?

The A/C seems to cycle ok, not sure what the pressure should be? Just does not cool.

Any help most appreciated. Thanks.

Check with both cabin temperature dials turned down to minimum.
Evaporator temperature should drop to around 5°C when the compressor is working then the compressor will turn off to prevent freezing then turn back on again at around 12°C on the evaporator temperature sensor to continue cooling.
It will then cycle and repeat as above.

Also check the cabin temperature sensor reading in Vida which should eventually reach approximately whatever temperature has been selected on the dials.

With both dials at low, outside temp was 26, inside 28 and evaporator reading 30. Pressure was around 2000 ish which seems low comparing to another v70 which was showing 7000 when running. Could it just be pump is gone? Would the condenser make any difference?
Thanks for the help.

Do a CCM recalibration in CCM >Advanced which will exercise and recalibrate all of the blender doors. You may get lucky.

The fact that the evaporator temperature isn't reducing though does suggest that the compressor may no longer be doing its job if the regas went exactly to plan with no leaks.

Done a ccm recalibration to no avail. I have taken a pic of the temps and pressure I have, but can't seem to upload them

I was having issues myself....all sorted now thankfully. After it was fixed I now get this -

I took a reading of the pressure before even starting the car and think it was just shy of 4000 hPa.......whilst driving with the air con on 9000 hPa.

I'll check the first reading again tomorrow morning before I set off........but as you say 2000 seems very low. I'll post readings on here tomorrow.

Who did you use for the re-gas ?

Regas was done by a local chap. Although at a couple of points the compressor seemed to "blow off" some pressure? Hasn't done it since, is there any possibility of a blockage somewhere? Never experienced it but just wondered if possible? Thanks

When you say "local chap" I take it he was an A/C engineer/specialist...get him back to look over and test the system again......
Will post my readings tomorrow.

As promised -
ECM reading for a/c pressure 5284 hPa before starting.
Started her up and the pressure starts to rise, short journey with a/c in auto and settings on LO and the highest reading I observed was 11700 hPa.

And it was cold brrrrr......
