fan motor rubber mounting lugs
i know that some of the forum members would have changed their heater motors at some point, im in the process of doing just that the problem that i am having is getting the rubber lugs on the fan casing seated onto the plastic carrier has any one found a solution its driving me nuts

If you follow my guide I used a different solution to mount my motor. |

cheers that looks a better solution. have you had any vibration problems with your fix

Hi I"ve done this job twice..put the rubber lugs in very hot water and lubed with washing liquid and you"ll get there...Though i have say the alternate solution looks very good.hj

Try and avoid washing up liquid as a lubricant if you can:~
After a little while the stuff will dry out & harden. Visit your local plumbers merchant or similar and get some lubricant that is used for rubber seals on push fit waste/drain pipes. Bob |
