Remote start and heating question

I have downloaded this app now 3 times and the new ERS is not on my phone.
Deleted off and reinstalled the correct version, still not showing.
Can anyone help?

I have version 3.5.7 on Android and remote start has not appeared.

I have just been to the play store and the only option for the VOC app is to uninstall or open, there is no update button.

Am I missing something obvious?

Hmm, strange, I don't think you could have missed it.

I've attached a screenshot of what mine looks like. Remind me does the iPhone 5s have touch iD (fingerprint recognition)? Just wondering if you need that in order to be able to authenticate the remote start, but then I this would be no more secure (just more convenience) than password.

Yes has fingerprint touch. New app does not add the ERS feature even though it shows it as a feature on iTunes, tried several times now with no luck?

Odd, I wonder if its only available on MY2017 cars? Phillip doesn't have it either, and I believe he's a MY2017 car.

I know its not related to app updates, as it suddenly appeared for me a couple of days ago on an older version of the app.

Hmm, no more ideas I'm afraid. Only:

* Perhaps try something like unlocking your car remotely, to ensure the app has connected and got any feature updates etc from the Volvo Cloud (this is just very much a guess, and something I might try if I were in your position).

* Maybe your car needs a certain software version, do you know when it was last updated? I have an my17 which had its last update at the 3 month check in early Sept.
