S40 Boot not opening again, loom issue?

Hey guys.

A few months ago I had the issue with my boot refusing to open. I changed the microswitch and that fixed it. That is until now, out doing the shopping, closed the boot and then got home, wouldn't open.

I don't have any boot open messages on the dash and my number plate lights still work. I'm thinking the loom has finally give up. Any thoughts guys?

Yeah sounds like the loom to me...

Suppose it's not so bad, they're cheap enough at least. Ordered one and hopefully it'll be here Monday or so. Then it's just a matter of getting the boot open to fit it.
