Default 1800s 63 model help required

Hi
I currently the proud owner of a 1962 PV544 (Picture in gallery) and am seriously considering the purchase of a 1800S (if that is the correct term for this model)
I have a 1963 model year in mind which was first registered new on Aug 1st 1963 in the UK hence R/H drive.
The seller tells me its one of the first batch of this model manufactured in Sweden when this work was taken in house and is hence a P1800S.
its log book shows a chassis Number of 12-1733 does this make sense? the Log book does not show a engine number but the seller has advised me it has had a new B20 engine fitted sometime during its life which may explain this.
He also tells me that the side Pillar decals which are on it should really not be fitted being restricted to Jensen assembled cars only but they had been retro fitted later is this correct?
Its not got a 1800s badge currently fitted to the rear but again he advises me this should be fitted and was omitted during a full restoration. Apparently they are still available?
The car is to a non expert in this model immaculate and this extends to the underside. the speedometer and rev counter gauge covers have hair line cracking to them but are fully serviceable they have been left this way as again I have been advised they are no longer available.
Again any help would be appreciated on the questions above.
Thanks in advance for any help.
