How do you get this damned thing off? The rubber hose is wrapped around the connecting block, but I can't seem to get the connecting block off for some reason. I think I could wiggle the cover out if I could get the connecting block off, but I don't want to break it. Do I have to take the hose off?

No you need to persevere and take off the snap connector. Really clean the area, squeeze the locking clamps and gently lever off with a small screwdriver. It's very important to clean all the s##t away from underneath the locking clamps.

Salut!

Wait, clamps? I only saw one clamp, the one visible in the photo?

Yes you're right, but same rules apply. Get the lockig tab out of the way and lever the connection off.

Salut!

Hmmm, I'm not sure how to be honest. The locking tab is loose now, so that's not in the way. The only way to get purchase on the block is to put a screwdriver under the tab, but that will break it off (I tried). If I put any more force into it in any other way, something will break. I reckon I'll need to disconnect the hose from one end or the other.
