V50 2.0d starting issue

Wondering if any one has any suggestions to why car struggles to start, just had a new battery put on as old one kept dying when trying to start on a morning or leaving door open for 5 minutes, put a new one on and car started this morning but struggled to as if the battery was nearly dead again. Battery is charging fine when cars running etc. Appreciate any advice or anything that any one has, thanks

I would suggest checking both battery and alternator voltages as per the link.

If all is Ok check for any corroded earths and give them a good clean back to bare metal.
