How did you get a Volvo part from a FORD dealer ??? It does come with the alloy pipe and other rubber pipe though , and did you find the small securing bracket on the alloy pipe broken?

Essex Ford (Rayleigh) are now a Volvo service centre & are the only one around here, I needed the part quickly so options were limited. The price was just for the rubber part (yes you are reading this correctly) although I was shown what looked like a kit of parts on their pc. I had other things on my mind at the time so didn't argue on the price, thankfully my business paid for it.
What a complete & utter con though...

Checked my hose today while car was in garage undergoing brake repairs,The hose was like jelly and I could feel a split along the point where the jubilee clip is attached.Priced up the hose from a few sources and the cheapest is Simon at FRF Swansea around the £55 mark delivered to the door, will start saving the pennies now.

Result m8 . The hose is made in Italy ~I guess it must be a designer hose at the price

Hi Hobbyhorse ,I just had an idea about the designer hose lol.Do you still have the old hose you removed? While at my friendy garage today I spotted a car with silicon hose's .Maybe its just possible the fresh air hose can be replaced by using a Samco or similar silcion hose which may be a cheaper option.Do you have the dimensions for the old hose?

Unfortunately its gone to the hose graveyard Mo One thing I would say is that it's not a straight foward elbow, there is a spigot (with a top keyway) for the crankcase breather system on the bend
