  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Have 2008 D5 - and am I missing something or dim ???

L H Side stalk with thumb "wheel" to give OBC info ... does this have to be operated to show display or should display be on all the time ... I get both !

Some setting in Menu ???? ... or ????

Mine doesn't, it always starts with a blank screen each time the engine is started and I have to turn the knurled knob to select a "topic" from the OBC, be it average mileage, miles left to run with fuel in fuel tank, etc etc. To be honest I don't know if it can be changed to permanently read one "topic" when the engine is started.

Mine used to be blank on start up and you had to scroll into the respective information pages. From memory I think the "kmhr' was retained. I quite liked the plain clutter-free display.

Agree with tt82 mine always starts where I left it. Usually in instantaneous fuel consumption which is best option for me.
