General question how well does your d5 pull away from stand still??
I think im having a issue with my v70, ive recently changed the turbo core and actuator and the car seems to be ok with no limp mode or error codes but it does bog down when pulling away especially on a slight incline. Also the car doesn't really come alive untill i hit 2000 rpm.
Does anyone else experience this? Anyone got suggestions on how i put it right?or am i expecting too much from the car?

Your car can and should be able to perform as new.
Mine does and it's ancient with nearly 200k miles.

Get yourself an ELM327 dongle. Bluetooth version if you have Android or WiFi version for iPhone and get the Torque Pro app.
Set up a screen like this using high/low gauges, take it for a spirited drive and get the best figures you can.
Screenshot it, post it on here and it'll be easy to tell where your problem lies.

Having had just a Citroen Berlingo prior to the V70 D5 P3 I can tell you that the power scared the life out of me and I could not understand why anyone would want more !

Mind you I am an Old Man Now.

I was disapointed with mine after changing up from a Saab, I found the swirl flap arm had fell off, I decided to remove the arm and fix the swirl flaps open by pushing the lever back towards the head and holding in place with a blob of silicon sealent....and now it absolutly flies...just something to check

is there enough vacuum supply to the turbo control valve and have you got the pipes on the right way?

EGR was cleaned 2 weeks ago wasn't really that bad. I've checked and cleaned the turbo valve recently too and the pipes are in the right place. how much vacuum should it be making?
