Default Amazon B18 engine

Hi. I have a Amazon 1780cc engine from my 121 for sale.
I haven’t had this running but turned over freely on key before removal.
£250.

Hi there,

Am looking for an engine to rebuild for a little winter project. Is yours original? Do you know if it's ever been to bits?

Default B18 engine

Hi, I have a B18 twin carb engine and gearbox. Has never been rebuilt although did have the head off to replace cylinder head gasket. It came off my first Amazon which went off to Volvo in the sky about 10 years ago. Obviously hasn't done anything in that time. Also includes gearbox, without overdrive. Engine did 189,000 trouble free miles other than my hiccup in allowing to overheat and I have full history after 77,000 when I bought it in 1971. I have a friend who showed interest but he hasn't come back to me. Trouble is its a fair distance away from you. Send me a PM if you wish.

Thanks, O.F.

Sounds good. Can't grumble for £50, can I? Does it turn?

Just been visiting friends in Forest of Dean. I could have stopped off at yours on the way home!

That's a shame, would have made things easy.
It was free a couple of years ago and has been in the garage since. I'll check at the weekend - we're out tomorrow.
