Default Volvo On Call

Evening All,
I Have just purchased a 3 year old S60 from TMS Volvo in Coventry, can anybody advise if there should be any subscription for 'On Call' left on the car, if not is it really worth renewing it, are there any real world benefits to it ?
Many thanks for any advice you can give me .

Matt

Normally with used cars from Volvo main dealer they will put 12 mth On Call as part of the sale.
Make sure it's working as the Telematics module has been known to fail after a software update.

The system should have been de - registered from its previous owner before you had it , so you will be able to register it to yourself at the dealer ..
have you read all the literature which comes with it , also in the built in electronic manual on the screen ?

Thanks Clan for the advice, I have read up on it both on the Volvo website and the owners handbook, just wondering if really is worth the subscription fee, I have breakdown cover with the Selekt warranty which I assume I don't need 'On Call' to access this ?

Cheers

the breakdown cover can be accessed via the on call operator .

On Call now is a very complex system with many features , a lot are free and the safety part is free for life.
You really need to talk to your dealer regarding costs and what you get as it varies with each year , it has been constantly updated for the last 20 years when volvo pioneered this system which only now are the rest catching up with ..
