Smile June 2010 Scottish Section Meeting

Well it is time again to announce another meeting of the Scottish section. This time, like the last, it will be another new venue for the VOC, but I do hope that it goes down as well as Arbroath did last month.

The meet will be held on Sunday 27th June 2010 at The Falkirk Wheel, Lime Road, Tamfourhill, FK1 4RS at 1pm.

I think that this is a good location as it is southern enough for the southern members, but not too far away for everyone else. There is also plenty to do at this location including:

Interactive Exhibition and Viewing Gallery
The Falkirk Wheel Café
The Falkirk Wheel Shop
Picnic Area and Playpark
Educational Basin Trail
Antonine Wall (a world heritage site)
Tourist Information Centre
Canal Walk and Cycle Paths
Ronald Rae Sculpture Trail
& of course The Falkirk Wheel itself.

......for anyone that wants to bring the family, or for anyone that doesn't want to stand about talking Volvo (I can't see why you wouldn't though, lol).

I hope that all the regulars come along, and with a new meet, hopefully we will get some new members that we can convert to regulars too.

Thanks in advance,

Duncan.
