Jack and spare wheel arrangement
Hi all,
I've just bought a 2011 V50 and the jack was sat in one of the pockets under the boot floor. I'm sure that it should be screwed down under the spare wheel somehow but I can't work it out. Can anyone tell me if it should have a separate bolt or does it just rattle around under there? I hope that makes sense? |

no only the wheel should be bolted in there. there should be a certain position in which the pieces should all be able to fit with no rattle and i even have the warning triangle on top of them with no rattle.

In my 2012 V50 the jack is bolted down then the spare is bolted on top. There are two threaded holes on the boot floor and the jack has a bolt to screw into one of these holes

@ Glyn - Have you actually got a tempra spare or just a can of gunk and a compressor?
@ Ninja - Your triangle if a proper one should fit into one of the slots in the moulded polystyrene tray thing under the boot floor board you lift up?? |

I have a tempra spare wheel. I think MacV50 has answered my question. I have two threaded holes on a bracket welded to the floor of the wheel well but only one bolt to bolt the wheel down with. MacV50 has confirmed that I am missing a bolt. I can't imagine it will be too expensive though?
