Default Double-check my front brake size? 278mm? 2004 v50 2.0D

Before I order some new discs and pads can I just check the size!! Is it 278mm?? That's what most listings seem to be saying but without taking them off the car and measuring them I want to be sure before I order! Thanks

should say on the caliper which you can sometimes see if you have an open design wheel, but MANY are 278 unless they are auto from memory.

The most safest way is to check the caliper mount.

The data banks at Volvo are full of mistakes. According to Volvo's details in Sweden about my car, it is supposed to have 300 mm brakes... It has 278 mm.

My Mum's S80 is noted at Volvo as a manual. It was delivered with an automatic.

Trust what is ON the car, not on paper!

Remove the front wheel and look at the top corner of the brake caliper mount and you'll see either 278 or 300 mm
