Default Temperamental Heater Fan

Hi. This has come up before but basically my heater fan is being weirdly temperamental. I replaced the fan itself last year and I don’t think that’s the problem.
On a cold start, it runs at a good speed.

If the car’s warm it sometimes doesn’t work at all, or slows down.

It also speeds up when I switch the wipers or lights off – I guess that could be a weak alternator?

Voltage Regulator?

What do you think people?

Don't know where the wire is but check that the earth wire for the fan motor is tight and makes good contact with the body(?).

Thanks Derek, I'll try that - I think I can get to it without taking the dash cover off
