Default Mystery master cylinder.

I dug this ATE master cylinder out the other day, thinking it was a 140/160 type and then realised the attachments are all wrong....looking at my 164 there is no brake switch and the two attachments for piping are on the other side.
Anyone have any idea what car it's for? It has the usual plastic fluid container marked in Swedish on the cap. I'm thinking it might be a very late 131/132 cylinder, they had dual brakes for about a year didn't they?

Carefully try a brake pipe nut in the fittings. If it's imperial UNF it could be late Amazon or 140/160. If metric then 240/740/340 etc.

All of the Amazon dual MC's, including the oddball 1 year only USA market single/dual circuit, had the outlets on the opposite side to the one in the pictures. OK it has Swedish text on the cap but Mercedes had a similar MC to the one shown with outlets on that side.

Cheers for that; I think some bugger has for reasons unknown grafted a Volvo reservoir onto an unrelated cylinder!
