For sale: Winter tyres on steel wheels

Still got my V50 winter tyres on steels available if anyone's interested. Now reduced in price.

205/55R16 winter tyres on steel wheels. Wheels are 6.5 x 16, 5 hole 108mm PCD with 63.3mm centre hole and 52.5mm offset

2 x Continental WinterContact TS850. 94H rating. £80 the pair. Approx 6-7mm remaining

2 x Nankang Snow SV-2 . £30 the pair. Approx 4mm remaining **

Steels are straight and tyres have never been curbed. Steels have surface rust due to exposure to road salt and muck. I believe the wheels will also fit MK3 Mondeo and some Focus.

Shipping would be £10 per wheel or I can deliver within 50 miles of Aberdeen for 45p / mile. They can also be collected.

Yes I still have them. I'm down in Edinburgh next Wednesday but need to be back early evening. I could manage a meet up in the morning if that suited you?

Hi MacV50, sorry for delay - i did see your post and reply but was away yesterday and been doing some homework on tyres etc. I didnt realize winter tyres are not the best for all year use, - i have alloys which are badly corroded. Ive always had all year round tyres and didnt want to go to expense of 2 sets. Im chewing the fat. I see people saying dont drive in the summer on winter tyres becasue breaking distance is much higher and grip is a problem. I havent given up on these yet - will try and get back to you soon...Ian

Do you still have these? If you have ill arrange to come up to Aberdeen as my tyres are getting a bit low. If you work a little bit south of the town or are
liable to be anywhere a few miles south even better but it doesnt matter.
