I agree with Bill..I wouldn't get too uptight over it...but I would be bl00dy annoyed if I ordered the winter pack and didn't have the heated windscreen.

Indeed, I will just let it lie I think.

I was not aware of anything about the different MY editions until yesterday, hence the 2013 confusion (compounded by the fact the paperwork states 2013 on it!). All I know is, if you look at a brand new car's features on the Volvo web site and at what's included, it states X. I have had a "brand new" car delivered and it has Y which is not the same.

The dealer is looking into the winter pack c**k up and am awaiting response.

If that was on the paperwork and not delivered, me thinks you might be getting a new, new car...

Yep, they are replacing it with a new one. But still only an MY14 edition.

To be frank am past caring about the 14/14.5 issue, I just want the heated windscreen!

Having an unregistered, new MY14 with winter pack in the colour you wanted would seem quite an achievement on the dealers part... I'd certainly be asking a few questions (assuming you can leave boss out of it and hassle dealer direct) and seeing how to get a MY14.5 or even 15 at this point.
