General - V50 2011 1.6TDI Fault code HELP PLEASE!!

Hello All, just wondered if anyone could help. We have a 2011 Volvo V50 1.6 Drive. Although driving fine the engine mgt light has come on. The following two faults codes are present:

P259900 Turbocharger boost control position sensor A Performance stuck high
P029900 Turbocharger/Supercharger A underboost condition.

Our local garage are unfamiliar with these codes. Therefore just wondered if anyone had any experience of knowledge of such faults.

First faultcode is the cause second faultcode is an effect of the first
What does the "garage" dont understand to take a look at the turbovane position motor/vacuumbox mechanical linkage?

yeh have seen arm on turbo siezed causing this fault
