The power steering fluid reservoir is leaking around the seam on my 2002 V70 D5 auto, I understand that this is a common problem and I need the updated reservoir part number 30645621 and hose part number 30740267

Hi,

I did this on my R as it was also leaking. Not sure the hose is the same on a diesel but I used this one

The bottle reservoir I got used from ebay too for about £20.

I have them available. £45 posted

Removed from a MY2006 V70 (65,000 miles) earlier this year. I was preparing to do a power steering fluid flush and read that the filter inside the reservoir needs to be cleaned out so I bought another used reservoir and cleaned it out beforehand to save me having to do it whilst I was doing the flush and my original is now surplus to requirements. The filter has been cleaned out and is ready to fit.

Thanks for this; I have just got the car back on the road and need to deal with a couple of other things first and then come back to the power steering leak(ette).
Can I ask where is the filter in the reservoir?

It's built into the inside and cannot be changed
