I love Saabs and weve had four.

Our first was a 95 Estate that we had in 1979. Exactly as in this photo.

Next was a 99 Turbo, followed by a 900i and last but not least was a Scarab Green Saab 9000 Aero Manual that had been worked on by Abbott racing. A wonderful car but out of the lot, I would have the 95 Estate back anytime.

I fell foul of a mod on there and was chased out relentlessly.
Bought a Porsche and discovered Alfa’s!

That is a good price, I found one on ebay for £90:00 post free !!
The only thing that puts me off purchasing a battery that's delivered is the hassle you'll have if it has to be returned for a warranty claim, you may be left without a battery for a week or so.
When I had to return a battery to Halfords a few years ago I took it in they checked it and replaced it straight away.

£98 was the price for the correct battery from the main dealers for my XC90.

As you say, far easier to return if there is a warranty issue.

I've bought at least 7 batteries from Tayna this year and not had a problem - in any event as it is distance selling you legally have a 14 day "cooling" period so if the new battery is faulty you can return it and buy another locally.

I've not tested their warranty process but they appear to be very customer service focussed.

And has been said with the dealer option it should be much easier - they can test it and replace it on the spot.

There's really not a massive difference in price between Volvo original via a Dealer and online offerings. I picked up a new battery for the V8 (same battery as the D5 now, according to Volvo) this afternoon and it cost me £10 more than the Yuasa linked above from Tanya (who I've also used with success a few times in the past).

You pays your money and takes your choice.

I'll add that where is does get ridiculous is that they also quoted £72 to fit it! I'm surprised they didn't tell me I needed a new pi**-take valve to go with it...
