Hi, are they gutter mounted, or fit on the roof rails? If gutter mounted, pics please and I will have them. If roof rail mounted and they will fit a 240 I will also have them, my 940 doesn’t have roof rails. Thanks

Apologies Dan - these are roof rails ...... getting old. They are complete with mounting feet, but require the headliner dropping down on each side to fit.

Couple of questions..... condition ?? any chance of some photos ??
Is the roof underside fitted with pre set plates, so I could just drop the headlining one side at a time drill through and fit without measuring up ?? |

Some cars have the plates - from what I can make out you have a 50 /50 chance !!! Mine didn't, so I simply marked round the feet with a wipe off board marker pen and drilled through. Bolt up from underneath with screws and stainless washers and a dob of silicone - job done. Dead simple job. Even dropping the headliner down is straightforward. You only need to drop the sides down, no need to remove it. Took me 15 mins per side. |

Hi here's the pix as promised- sorry they're later than expected - rain stopped play !
3 peeps interested now. My bars are loose on the grey 940 - the Green car is to show you where they go. In perfect condition - no damage. Last edited by beachcomber550; Jul 21st, 2019 at 18:47. |
