Why was the remark "LHD" made for inlet manifolds?

On rhd cars, with some Weber manifolds, there isn't enough space for the carbs due to the location of the brake and clutch master cylinders.

I'm currious what brand they are. I have played with several different sets of the DCOE mainfolds for a B20. Are they MISAB ones? I am guessing they are the long ones (either MISAB or orginal Volvo ones) if the manifolds are hitting the steering coupler. But those normally have a health tilt to them.

Attached are a couple of photos of different DCOE set ups on RHD cars. It's normally a question of the style of airfilters/velocity stacks and how things fit. 1800's are normally the most problematic. Phil S. normally builds a box around the intakes and has the true intake pull air from outside the engine compartment.
