Default Traffic Alerts - volume

Anyone know if you can set the volume for the auto traffic alerts that come though on the radio?

On my car they are set to such a high volume!

If it works like the other Volvos, then simply turn the volume down when the traffic alert is triggered and that will be the new set volume. Same for parking sensors volume, voice assistant etc...

Hmm, pretty sure I've tried that already but I'll do it on the way home tonight and see if it works.

Thanks

I have tried this several times now and lowering the volume on the traffic alerts has only a temporary effect and the setting isn't saved..........

Likewise.

There appears to be lots of separate volume settings for a number of facilities, but not one for traffic alerts. This does seem to be a missing feature.

Perhaps a more radical solution to the problem, but I turned off TA reports about 6 months ago and started using google maps "OK Google - how long will it take me to get to work?" is all I ask my phone. It is infinitely more effective than the out of date ramblings from local radio stations....

I would love it, if it what I heard from local radio stations was as funny.

Anyway, genuinely, since I discovered Google Maps with live traffic information (which I have tested and it is pretty darn accurate - better than anything else by a massive margin) it has revolutionised my commute and attitude to traffic. At the same time I turned off traffic reports which add nothing and I haven't looked back.

I urge you, just try it, it is genuinely brilliant.
