Default Low rev misfire, lumpy idle and misfire under load.

Hello everyone.
I have a challenge and I am not sure where to look next.

2002, 1.8 non turbo petrol v40. Wonderful car.

It has developed a misfire at tickover and lumpy idle. When accelerating or applying any load, again misfire.
ODB reader says misfire on cylinder 3. Thats the only code that comes up.

Once it gets going and you get some revs going, engine is sweet. Just low revs and under load.

Fault finding:
1 - I have checked all plugs and gaps, swapped plugs to different cylinders - same fault.
2 - replaced suspected faulty coil pack with new one, no difference, put original one back - no difference.
3 - swapped coil packs between cylinder 3 and 4. No change.
4 - checked sparking - strong spark on cylinder 1 and 3.
5 - cleaned throttle body - was very clean anyway, minimal dirt inside.
6 - checked icv - nothing obvious, gave a clean
7 - removed injector rail and 'shuffled the injectors'. No change.
8 - Airbox and filter immaculate (filter only has 4000 miles on it and still looks new.)

Still get lumpy tick over and fault code for 3rd cylinder misfire.

What else could I check? Would the wiring harness that connects the coil packs etc. cause this .

Thanks all.

Yes, check the wiring to the coil pack. It is quite fragile and given the heat under the engine cover can get quite brittle and easily damaged.
