Volvo arms are pretty reasonable PROVIDING you have some OEM volvo arms to exchange - if not the price increases !
When in the same predicament (replace bushes or new arms) with my XC90 i couldnt see any markings on mine so bought aftermarket, only when removed & cleaned up did i find the volvo markings.

The old bushes on the existing arms won't just push out by hand though, would they?

I think you have to cut them out with hacksaw and chisels etc...
Not a job I'd tackle I must admit. Cheers Dave |

Drill to destroy the rubber, then saw to cut the metal sleeve out (some polyflex bushings need to keep the sleeve) A hand cutter can also clean the remaining rubber if you need to keep the sleeve https://youtu.be/uSnz6UbGrIM

Polybush not too firm? Or where to order Lemforder?
Quote:
With these polybushes - is it not a very firm ride? I've always steered clear (excuse the pun) of poly bushing because I assumed it was for boy racers who want to feel like they are driving a home-made go-cart. I want my XC90 to feel like an armchair on wheels, soaking up the potholes on my rural commute (hence wishbone/trailing arm issues!). For anyone else following this thread- there has been lots of mention of using genuine Volvo wishbones. I've been trying to find either those or Lemforder ones online and I can't find anywhere selling them. Can anyone share a link to Lemforder? I use AutoDoc and for some reason everywhere is consistently sold out of the RHS ones but LHS ones are available! I want to change both sides plus rear arms so they all match. Thanks for help, Andy |

The best place to get genuine Volvo parts is a dealer. The prices may surprise you.
