New member potential buyer with questions

Hi guys thank for having me on your forum! I've been lurking as I'm considering leasing a s90 given the prices is soo cheap per month for what you get! The value for money is incredible.would be my first volvo btw.

I had a few minor questions.

I'm looking at the momentum pro version. I'm going via carwow on thier config it says 'momentum plus' but the volvo website references 'momentum pro'. Is there any difference spec wise?

For those with momentum pro does it come with drive select and with android auto?

How do you find the wind noise on the motorway? Is quiet-ish/well insulated? (I know it will be subjective to a degree).

The Momentum Pro has quite a lot of extra equipment, from wheels through seats, winter pack etc. I’m not sure what the Plus is.

Mine certainly has drive select but in 2018 at least the CarPlay/ android was extra, dont know if it still is.

V90 at least is probably slightly more refined than an equivalent E class, 4 pot engine is the weak spot, its not worse than anyone’s else’s 4 cylinder, but you will find it gruff if coming from a 6 cylinder.

I’ve ordered the momentum plus. Apple CarPlay and android auto are an option. I’ve got it as part of the Harmon Kardon stereo upgrade pack, not sure if it’s available on its own.
I’ve also added the winter pack as an option so I don’t think plus and pro are the same.

Id love to be able to comment on the wind noise but I’m counting down the days till my October delivery date.

I’ve just gone on to the build your Volvo section and all three trims are now only available as “plus”. Looks like the Pro option has been removed.

All ‘pro’ models are model year 19 vehicles, for model year 2020, ie for vehicles manufactured since April 2019 the momentum and momentum pro trims have been replaced by the ‘plus’ trims which include extra equipment ie reversing camera, winter pack etc.

Im wondering if that is backwards? The dealer sent me the specs list for 2019. All the versions there are listed as 'pro' and the momentum pro for example has the shadow lights (the ones that are like audis matrix leds), HUD, heated steering where as the momentum plus on the volvo website doesn't have those options? If 2020 is now the plus then looks to me like they have taken options away! I ve attached what the dealer sent me.

Thanks for help so far guys who knew buying a car was soo confusing, my bike was so much more straight forward I went chose my colour and left lol

V60 thanks for the link mate.looking at the my2020 spec list I can't see momentum plus anywhere? I might be wrong but I would assume the list that they set out as standard features would be the 'momentum plus'? If so then the as i mentioned the HUD, heated wheel etc are no longer on the momentum plus spec??

Ive had a quick look, the Plus spec is slightly lower than the Pro - but it is a bot cheaper, my Pro has a load of extras, but I’m sure that the adaptive shadow bending lights and herated screen and steering wheel were standard on Pro.

Yeah shame that I'm really after shadow light system the rest would be a bonus.
