I hear through the '240 grapevine' that this is now in the hands of a new owner in Derby.

Looks like its gone to an enthusiast

Hi all, Happy New Year
This is my first post here. I collected 'BAY' yesterday, needed to make a detour to collect some stuff and ended up doing 550 miles before I got home. mostly motorway, used 83l of petrol.......... so about 29mpg. Unfortunetely the car is not like the photos posted by Stiggy and I need to get to a jetwash soon.
Thank you to IH for his advice prior to buying the car, I'm sure to need more advice and help looking after her and keeping her in tip top condition. I look forward to lots of happy motoring miles. Its forums like this that make owning a 'more mature car' practical and fun.
Regards, Nick

Hi Nick.

congrats on the purchase. I know Ashbourne well. Got family in Windley/Turnditch area, also Allestree & Smalley.

Looking forward to your updates with 'BAY'. Also sure that after your 500+ miler shes bound to be a tad dirty. Won't take you long to get her back up to Stiggy's standard again

Enjoy her & good luck

Hi all,
Using BAY as my daily driver, I think the front shocks need replacing and maybe the front brake pads, just trying to get to grips with the spares situation.
Apart from that and some rust around the bootlid, just above the N/S indicator, all seems to be well
