I would be a bit cautious with these Technical Journals since we do not actually have access to see what they are saying. Also when I recited several of them my Technical Manager, he traced them and came back to me that although they were all related to XC60 2018 models, none of them was associated to my VIN. plane and simple although I was experiencing the so called problems of vibrations etc, the TJ's were for other VINs and not my car and therefore he couldn't act upon.

The TJ linked elsewhere in this thread doesn't seem to be available, otherwise I'd have a go at applying the fix myself... Steve

So I've been having the same thing -- door handle vibration on B&W under specific frequencies - and took the car to the dealer. They kept it the whole day and apparently removed the panel and applied some material to isolate the speaker. I still hear the vibrations though...
However, I just found out yesterday that if I rest my hand (or even just a finger) on the speaker grill, the vibrations significantly reduce (I actually think they completely stop, but I still want to do some tests). My plan is to get some adhesive rubber and place it toward the end of the speaker grill, where the door and the dashboard meet. Hopefully, when the door is closed, the grill will be in contact with the rubber and it will have the same effect as resting your hand on the grill. And the noises should be gone... I'll post some pictures when I get around to it and let you guys know if it works at all. |

Update: I think I fixed it. At least the vibrations seem to be gone from the bass-heavy tracks I've had trouble with. Here's the small DIY:
I went to the hardware store and got some adhesive rubber. Cost me 10€/9£, and it seems to be useful for gardening too Then, I cut a couple of small pieces that match the end of the dashboard and the speaker grill. I stacked them to create enough volume and it seems to work. Here are some pics: |

I DON'T have the B&W, but started getting a rattle too recently that was coming from the handle.
What I found there is a plastic pin had lifted (visible inside the handle hinge when the handle is in an open position). A simple push (goes down VERY easy) had cured the rattle
