There is a list of limitations:

your vehicle's speed must be above 3 mph (4 km/h)
the road must be straight
your lane must have clear side lane markings
your vehicle must be positioned straight in your lane
the oncoming vehicle must be positioned within your vehicle's lane markings
the oncoming vehicle's headlights must be on (will DRL's work?)
the function can only handle "front-to-front" collisions
the function can only detect vehicles with four wheels (means having 2 headlights?)

I have a better system included in my intellisafe, it applies the brakes and flashes the red warning lights in the windscreen if it thinks you are going to hit anything.

There is a bend in the approach road to my house with a lamp post on the bend and unless you approach it quite slowly it applies the brakes sharply but briefly until it realises you are not going to hit it as you steer round the bend. It has activated briefly quite a number times in other situations mainly on bends with bushes or other obstacles on them but also in other situations.

This is a totally different thing to oncoming collision mitigation.

OCM is literally a last minute attempt by the car to mitigate the severity of the collision. You won't get a warning because at the point it can reliably predict a head-on collision the impact is inevitable.

It's the Intellisafe function decribed above that I find to agressive when driving on roads with "chicanes".
The car then thinks too soon it's going to hit the obstruction when set to "normal".
This is why I want to know if Oncoming Mitigation by Braking has settings.

I think we have already established that no, it does not have any kind of settings.

Oh, sorry, I thought you still wonder that even now. But if you meant past tense, then it is fine

What I wrote probably wasn't unambiguous, I'm afraid this happens
