Default Polestar Optimisation dealer pricing?

I'm thinking of getting the Polestar Optimisation added to my MY17 XC90 D5 and wondered what prices you've been quoted.
I believe Volvo have set price but am pretty sure the dealers have a degree of flexibility.

Thanks

I think it's more or less standard.
It's about 1100€, 800 or 900 pounds.

Unless Volvo/polestar have a discount promotion on, which they do from time to time. Can’t remember what I paid but it was nearer £600 than £900

I've just had an email promoting Polestar Optimisation for £745. After some consideration I won't be taking it up. I don't think I need it,and, as my Service Manager mentioned, some people have had it removed due to the increase in insurance premium

£745 is the price - obviously less if you can get a discount. Certainly check your insurance - many will either refuse or add premium, though there are some that accept. My dealer service manager sales he knew of no one asking for it to be removed (on grounds of not being happy about the performance).

they can let you test it for a few weeks and if you are not happy there is a software to revert back ...

I understand that the Polestar optimisation software upgrade is identified and acquired by dealerships using a specific part number from Volvo in the same way that all parts are supplied to them.

The 'normal' price is fixed by Volvo but sometimes a promotional offer is made (as the present £745 dictates), dealers may subsequently offer a further small discount as they do with other parts and accessories to VOC members etc.

Unlike other aftermarket fitted accessories, Polestar can be tried for up to 14 days and removed with full credit if subsequently declined by the customer.

I had Polestar fitted for £595 on 26 June at my Dealer - Volvo we’re running a 15% discount promotion up to 30 June - very pleased with it too, certainly won’t be having it removed.

I checked with my insurer (Aviva) before having it installed and they advised that there would be no change to my premium.

The price is now back to £745.
