Default What can be done to break up a silver car

No I don't mean smash ect : )

Break up the silver,I am not keen on them at all but condition and price were right but would like to do something to break it up. Maybe red pin striping ect, just something.

All ideas are welcome

I like silver and wouldn’t want to ‘break it up’.

What is the car?

Depends what look you're after and how much money and/or time you want to spend, but there's all sorts of colour, texture and pattern vinyl wrap on ebay, do a stripe or do the whole car.

I quite like silver depending on shade and model. Not knowing the model in question and not knowing how it looks at the moment an idea could be, stick to 2 colours (certainly no more than 3). Have the windows tinted, black glossy wheels and black glossy mirrors, simple and effective? As previously mentioned it depends how far you want to go and how much you are prepared to spend.

One of my past cars, before and after for a bit of inspiration.

Just noticed 2000 V70, plenty of scope there I would of thought.

I'd go for pinstripes along the length of the car, about waist height (on the car, not your waist) give or take a bit. Something like this, using the thicker part of the pinstrip at the top :

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12mm-Viny...k/173893052688

It comes with end sections to give an option for finishing near the end of the panel, rather than wrapping round the end.

If you get a roll of 12mm masking tape and with the aid of an assistant, put a length along the car, you can get an idea where the pinstripe will be most effective and the masking tape is easily removed and replaced to try different heights.

Simple but effective!
