Default XC90 3200cc Petrol, Catalytic Convertor unit

Hi, Can anyone advise any fix or supply a 3 way cat, twin pipes to fit a 2008 petrol XC90 ?
I have a slight leak from somewhere in the mesh area and it sends the sensor on and off.
Thanks in advance.

you can get repair pieces for these flex joints , motorsports suppliers are a good bet . You have to get them welded in of course ...

Merlin motorsports based at castle combe circuit are one such place

Thinking on from a conversation from the local volvo specialist who advised me.. he said there was a pipe inside the mesh where the leak was so replacing the mesh was not an option. Do you know if he is right?
thanks again

There is the main flexible convoluted pipe inside the mesh these repair pieces replace the whole flexible section .

here is such an example:

Smile catalyst mesh problem

Hi,
Just wanted to say thanks to you guys for for pointing me in the right direction with this problem where I would have to buy a new 3.2 petrol catalytic exhaust system at £1000 plus fit ( on backorder with Volvo thankfully ).
I was recommended a local exhaust manufacturer in Jackson Street, St. Helens (moved now to Haydock). Dave from BCS Automotive cut the old one down, cut out the 2 old mesh pipes ( he replaced both so they were even and future proof ). Cost quoted up to £350 inc, but came well under that. Super job, much quieter and a big difference in power so very happy, thanks again.
