Default S60 2015 Rear Fuse Box

Hiya

I have an S60 SE Lux Nav and I'm trying to work out what I do and don't have.

Anyway, I thought I had a rear 12v socket but can't seem to find it (apparently it may be an extra it wasn't specced with).

I then started to wonder if I had a rear fuse box too (for wiring one in if needed), but I don't think I have one.

I've attached a pic below...I'm guessing the empty area above the black box is where a fuse box WOULD go?

I'm more curious now than bothered about the 12v socket

Cheers

That black box in your picture is the fuse box.

Lower down you should have a 2 pin plug taped to the harness which is for the 12v power socket. There's a fuse for it in the black fuse box.

I bought one off ebay and on the inside of the boot liner was the markings of where to drill the hole for the socket

Fantastic!! Thanks for the info and photo. It's raining at the moment but I'll go out and check for that taped harness tomorrow 😊

Can you link me to the 12v socket you have please? Also how did you see the markings for where to drill? Did you have to pull the boot lining back to see them?

Thanks

Here's one on ebay but I wouldn't pay that for a 2nd hand one:

Yes on the back of the boot panel once you remove it there is an outline of the circle shape with an extra flat part at the top which needs cutting out - a very easy job

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks a lot for the info! Really appreciate it! Does indeed seem a simple job, and I can use the part info from that listing to find one that's not stupidly expensive.
