Default XC90 bonnet protector

I have picked up some slight damage on the front edge of the bonnet and thought that I would fit one of those bonnet protectors to cover the damage and prevent a reoccurrence but the usual Google search has provided very limited info re a UK based supplier. Has any one seen one, got one or know where they can be sourced apart from outside UK pls?
This sort of thing

Next time you hear a roaring throaty exhaust and it’s a POS driven by an 18 year old there is a good chance they will have one of those to protect their 900 quid banger.

Me personally I would rather add the money to any respray or touching up required.

I have driven for 20 years high mile and never had leading edge damage.

I agree, Please don't do this to your Volvo! Have damages touched up if there's enough and it bothers you.

It makes em think of the effort phone manufacturers go to with their industrial design only to have most people wrap them up in ugly phone protectors..

The slight stone chips and other damage will look much nicer than that carbuncle on the front of your car, if you really want to put some protection on the front you can buy thick clear film that goes over the front of the bonnet, but I would not bother. Just get the damage touched up by a chips away company. You have just been unlucky, they don't usually collect much damage.

Wow that is a shocking bit of plastic!

I have XPEL Ultimate self healing protection film all over the front of mine - front bumper, wings and bonnet (hood). The guys even covered the headlights, Wong mirrors and around the wheel arches.

It is completely clear and very glossy and 100% protects from stone chips. Why not consider this?
It’s not cheap but is the best option - I went a bit mad and did most of the car but you don’t have to do so much.

https://www.xpel.com/shop/paint-prot.../ultimate-plus

But it does really need to be fitted by a pro to make it invisible.

Thanks for the comments guys and dont disagree with any of them. I have a mirror on an angle bracket on back wall of my garage so I can see down rack side when i drive car into garage.
Last week as I reversed out of the garage I noticed one of the mirrors was missing. On closer inspection I can see one of the 2 fixing screws had pulled out of the breeze-block which then pulled the other fixing out as it fell forwards, and put a gouge in the front edge of the bonnet. I have a Volvo paint stick and have covered the scratch but I know it is there and it frankly bugs the hell out of me (i have car ocd v v badly).
My thought was one of these protectors would cover the scratch and offer some protection going forwards but the only pic I could find was the one I posted which i frankly felt was awful hence my question re whether alternatives were available that may be more aesthetically pleasing.
I have an appointment with a local respected paint shop tomorrow but I fear they will say they would have to paint the whole bonnet (and blend into the wings?) and I do not want to spoil the originality of the car especially for such a minor cosmetic issue, but I may be surprised and they can come up with a solution.
