Thanks for that they have done a few jobs on my cars over the years so confident they did it right.

It’s going into NEIL smith at Cannock he’s come highly recommended of lots of different people, he said try the valve body first which is £1000+ vat which he’s sure will sort it worse case it’s another £1000 to totally refurb the whole box.

I have been driving it over the past few days and when it’s cold it’s not too bad but soon as there is some heat through it, it plays up so we will see next week but will let you know what happens

Just got back from picking it up, it’s had a new valve body and all new oil.

All I can say is ‘wow’ it’s like a new car, it changes silky smooth so really pleased with the results can highly recommend them and thanks for the info on here.

Hi it was £1260 all in or if it needed a full refurb another £1000 on top, he did say they are quite common and he’s done lots over the years, he also said as I had it done as soon as it was playing up I’ve got away without damaging the gearbox.

He said they have strong gearbox’s but if used when they are banging into gear it doesn’t take too long to damage them.
